Winter!
Winter is here - and winter means boots, gloves, hats, scarves, collars, coats and the occasional tie, not because we have to (especially in Sydney), but because it looks good.
And what is the done thing when one is so attired?
Go to the opera, of course!
Opera Australia's winter season consists of The Barber of Seville, Il trovatore, The Abduction from the Seraglio, A Streetcar Named Desire, Il trittico, The Tales of Hoffmann, The Gondoliers and Tannhäuser.
So who's in? Time and date (and indeed opera) to be decided by general consensus.

Me! Me! Me!
We are definitely keen for at least one opera this season. We can discus the details and compare diaries over coffee/wine/meal soon.
oh darling I'm so jealous! You did promise to take me to the Opera, and I intend to hold you to this *giggle*
We'll do better than that, darling. We'll go see Shakespeare at the Globe!
